MATH 1250 - Trigonometry & Pre-Calculus Studies functions necessary for students planning to take calculus. Topics include polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, inverse functions, and trigonometric functions. Major emphasis is placed on trigonometric topics and includes the unit circle, trigonometric graphs, right angle trigonometry, and inverse trigonometric functions. Graphical and algebraic analyses of these functions are covered with emphasis.
Credit Hours 4.0 Satisfies a Requirement Mathematics Area II Prerequisite College Algebra or an advanced math course beyond Algebra II in high school, or a satisfactory score on the math placement exam.
