COMM 2103 - Introduction to Film Studies Introduction to Film Studies explores film as a unique and contemporary art form and will focus on various aspects of film such as cinematic techniques, film genres, and filmmaking styles. Popular films will be screened to analyze story arcs, filming techniques, symbolism, character development, and etc. Through the viewing and analysis of films, students will develop their observational and critical thinking skills with regard to cinema.
